Jessica Ghermezi

Licensed Educational Psychologist

Helping children feel successful at school, at home, and in their community is what motivates me. I have extensive experience working in a range of educational settings as credentialed school psychologist. I am also licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a licensed educational psychologist in addition to being a certified school psychologist. I have worked with a diverse population of students over the years that includes all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. Parents often feel lost and are not sure how to make school a better experience for their child.

I would like to help. I offer psychoeducational assessments to answer questions about a possible learning disorder including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. An assessment may also be useful in determining the presence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Anxiety, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injuries and more . You may be seeking to understand your child’s learning strengths and weaknesses as part of the process for developing a 504 plan or an individualized education plan. Assessments can also be valuable for finding out about a child’s learning potential or for determining if your child may be eligible to participate in a program for gifted learners? Whatever the issue, I can tailor an assessment that will offer insight, answer questions and provide relevant information. When the assessment is completed, I can also work with you child’s school to develop and implement interventions and supports.
